The OPIOID SPOON PROJECT uses this 800 pound sculpture to "inform and educate the public about the unfolding tragedy (opioid crisis) and promote awareness about the white-collar criminals whose greed and indifference brought it to life" says Domenic Esposito, artist and founder. It has been placed outside the Mountainside Addiction and Treatment Center in New York, the Food and Drug Association in Washington DC, and the headquarters of major pharmaceutical companies.
