The street artist BANKSY, elusive as usual, slipped in and hung an homage to healthcare workers (entitled "Game Changers") on the wall of a British hospital. According to Artnet.com “The painting, an uncharacteristic medium for the street artist, shows a young boy playing with a superhero doll dressed as a nurse, complete with a mask and apron bearing the Red Cross symbol, and a cape fluttering behind her. Next to the child, a wastebasket holds castoffs, including Spider–Man and Batman dolls — outdated versions of superheroes in our new pandemic-stricken world.” The piece will be sold at auction (with the artist’s permission) to raise funds for the National Health Service.
