OLAFUR ELIASSON's "Ice Watch" (2018) was installed in London, Paris and Copenhagen, each coinciding with a global climate change event. It consists of ice blocks which were, as he explains, "taken out of the waters of the Nuup Kangerlua fjord in Greenland where they were melting into the ocean after having been lost from the ice sheet. It (the art) is a lot more physical; it suddenly gives a stronger sense of what it is they're talking about when they say the Greenland ice caps are melting."
